I would point out that aiming for high voucher amounts (£50+) has a risk involved - if SB fails, and survey sites sometimes do pack up, then you tend to lose any unredeemed points. Once you credit a voucher to your amazon account, then it is yours, and the expiry on them is december 2015 at the moment. I prefer to cash in as soon as I have enough for £5 and the credit just accumulates in my amazon account. Worst case scenario = SB goes down just before you hit the mark for a £50 voucher and you then lose it all, as opposed to having redeemed for 9 x £5 vouchers and only losing £5 worth.
Hope that made sense - I haven't had enough coffee yet to think coherently
I'm new, joined 14 days ago. I have enough points to get 2 x £5 amazon vouchers but was hoping to save up for a £500 AGC.
What do you mean losing points? How is that even possible? Has that happened to anyone?
So far I've been really lucky and all my points have credited immediately. I tend to stick with TS, DS, Tasks, and Vids.0 -

What I mean by losing points is that if SB goes into administration and basically closes shop, they are not obligated to honor any unredeemed points you had in your account when they closed. There was a similar site called, I think, superpoints (or something like that) that recently went bust and members lost any unredeemed points.
£500 amazon is a good target to aim for, but I would save it in your amazon account by getting £5 or £25 vouchers whenever you can. Once you have redeemed points, received your amazon code, and credited it to your amazon account, then it is yours - at that stage SB could dissapear overnight and your amazon credit will be unaffected as the transaction with SB has already been completed.
I haven't personally been stung like this, but there was a post a few weeks ago about superpoints(?) and a lot of people lost their points.0 -

If swagbucks suddenly stops operating and goes out of business we would all lose all of our points. It's a risk we take. Lots of us were clocking up points on the Superpoints site recently when that happened.Don't mess with pensioners. :cool:0 -

He/she meant if the site were to go down, another site went down recently and people who had been saving points for a long time lost a lot.
No way would i save for £500 but that's just my opinion0
