I'm not getting very far with Swagbucks. I started filling in something which looked hopeful but then it took me to pages where I'd have to pay real money for subscriptions and I couldn't get any further.
Another hopeful offer led me to a survey but, when I'd completed it, an error message was displayed so I was stuck again.
Sometimes I just get a blank page when I try to play games. I think I'm wasting my time!
    :-(
Can someone convince me to keep trying?

Some of the walls, like payment wall can be spammy with offers and you have to be careful if they ask you to download or sign up to something that asks you to pay, what wall was this? Best to stick to surveys on Trusted and Peanut Labs and look out for the Daily survey (this has the date on and can be successfully credited once a day) Trial Pay surveys are also good. I think we have all felt like giving in on more than one occasion, but its worth sticking at for a bit longer and keeping a look on this thread, particularly the first page for help and advice. We are all here to help and support each other.

Cath has given some good advice. Sometimes if you get an error message at the end of a survy it's worth refreshing the page. If that doesn't work, try clicking on the browser back arrow to see if it will take you back a page. With regard to the payment walls, keep checking on here to see what offers other people have done and that have credited. To be honest, I don't do offers very often. If I were to do an offer where you have to pay, I would first of all make sure that it is something that you really want (a good example would be the Body Shop offer on TrialPay - if you want to buy any bodyshop products, then get the swagbucks as well). There are a couple of offers, such as Netflix and Audible which offer a free trial period but you can cancel within the month and not pay anything. With regard to the games, sometimes I get a blank page - try it in another browser, it often works then. Make sure you either get a high score so you can get on the high score table, or play the game for a reasonable length of time (I usually play a game for a couple of minutes at least).

It can be frustrating when things don't credit - we've all been there, but honestly it is worth it if you keep persevering. Ask questions on here if you are unsure about anything and people will help or give guidance if they can - it's a great community on here

Only 280/70 here, Cath. I'm going to get to my bed soon - I have a rotten sore throat, so I think I will make myself some hot lemon and honey. Have a good day tomorrow :)

Tried again but, after I'd completed a task asking me to search Google and record various bits of information, I hit the "Submit" button and nothing happened. I went to "Get support" but had to register with CrowdFlower. Eventually, I got back to a page which told me I'd scored 0% accuracy!
I found the instructions confusing: first I was told NOT to click on the link ... and then told to click on the link "as before".
I may just take up knitting!

Was this one for 12sb about Fisher Investments? If so it's broken. Have you tried the so-called Casino tasks for 4sb each? There should still be some left. They are the ones called 'answer a question about a website'. Also you could try the three that are called 'search google and record information about them', They are Fisher Investment ones, but much easier and they do work. I have been doing 'Compare Local Search Engine Results, then Rate their Relevance!' for 6sb - you have to do three to get 6sb. They are quite easy but a bit tedious but worth it if you don't have anything else to do. You need to get the meter in the top left to 100% and it then credits you with 20sb :)
