  • How do you get the PL surveys? Do i have to do the "Free enable swag bucks (unlock surveys for swagbucks) it's at the top of PL when I click the link... Is that right? I'm a bit weary... I did a few of the questions asking for postal code etc...is that the right one to do to get the surveys?

    Advice welcomed :D

  • Just got warned via my upto date virus protection when attempting to download the media lite for 25 sb. Might just be a "cookie browser" type thing but really shouldn't be hiding in software.

The software downloads come 'wrapped' in adware/malware - and lots of it too! This is fine if you're desperate to reach targets and don't mind spending time cleaning up the pc as soon as you're credited.
I use a 'sandbox' program that keeps all activity contained in a virtual environment ('sandbox') so nothing actually touches your pc. I suspect this may be a bit too complicated for most users here, though.
Swagbucks earnings since 22/05/2012 £135 paypal cash
Clicksense earnings since 16/10/2012 $100.56 paypal cash

I use Sandboxie, it is dead easy to use and protects your computer completely. My antivirus warns me when there is a problem and, if it is really bad, it blocks it even in the sandbox.

Just completed a daily survey about Shopping, part of which was broken (it only gave headings of columns but nothing else). It did allow me to click on the next button though and it did credit :)
    Swagbucks joined 5th July 2012 - Earned 2012: Amazon - £300 - 2013: Amazon - £610
    Neobux - joined 15th April 2013 - Earned 2013 $695 PayPal
    2014 - Swagbucks £75 Neobux $102 Clixsense $67
    2014 goal £180/600
  • Struggled horribly today with survey DQs but eventually got one on video games for 45 and a daily on TV channels for 70 neither of which took too long.

Fed up getting that Acer ad as well. :j

I have Sandboxie too - an incredibly easy and free piece of software. I have been considering using it for downloading offers, but as yet haven't got round to it. Can I ask, do you open up your web browser in Sandboxie before downloading the software or do you download as normal then install it using Sandboxie. I have read online that people do use both methods, but I was thinking that maybe if you run the browser sandboxed, the swagbucks may not credit :)

  • hi guys, newbie here! i've been on Swagbucks for under a week now and i am obsessed! i'm hoping to get enough points to get £100 paypal voucher before christmas. i hope someone here can answer my question. although i've only been on a week, i've noticed on the home page that the daily surveys are available from days when i havent been registered on the site. i know they are 'daily' surveys but are we allowed to do them if we've already done todays? i've managed to go back and find daily surveys from the 15th August (i'm sure if i go back further i could find even more!). i don't want to be doing them if my account will be taken away from me. any help would be great, thank you :)

I open my browser in the sandbox in the morning and do all my SB in there throughout the day. If I download software it is already in the sandbox so there is no risk of me forgetting. I find that reassuring as there are lots of offers - even those without downloads - that raise an alarm with my antivirus. The worst is the Supersonic tab; clicking on "free" brings up a red flag every time; same with those 29sb offers on PL.
I empty the sand box and clear cookies, cache, etc every couple of downloads.

You are only allowed to do 1 daily a day (the one on the home page with the calendar icon). It doesn't matter what date is on it, it is one per "real" day. So if you have completed one today you cannot do another one until tomorrow. Even though it is technically possible, it is not allowed.
