Your computer each time you access the internet is given something they call an IP address. It basically is like a ticket that is a string of numbers. Look like this IP 45.23.45.56 cant remember how long but they look like that. Each company you access the internet via IE BT, SKY, PLUS NET have their own IP selection specific to them. They use the IP to track people basically.

A proxy server is when you use a site that is set up in another country or location to access sites so that your IP address is hidden. Basically their site is like a mini internal browser so anyone trying to track you will get the ip of their site and where they are located not you. They are fab if you are anywhere that certain website addresses are banned because you can log into the proxy sites and then access the banned sites via theirs.

But neither u nor me were using proxy servers or hosts lol. Well I do and have but not at home and not to access swagbucks ever. We used to use them at college and work to bypass the restricted sites lol.

And yeh I knew it was the ones that are on PL and Trial pay. However the same system works perfectly fine for me on any other site running it so it is a problem only to Swagbucks. Good luck reply to them and say nope to the proxy server thing. I and on BT fibre optic xx

Thanks for that. I have replied saying I haven't ever used a proxy server. I mean it was working normally at the beginning of the month and I've done nothing to the computer since then. It is also the same from the IPad. I am on SuperPoints but don't tend to do the surveys so I will go on to PL from that and see.

Despite that problem I did get over 300 yesterday which is fantastic for me.

I am on Virgin fibre optic by the way.

I'll post further if I have anyathing helpful to say.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Name Dropper Mortgage-free Glee!
The lacoste one didn't credit for me, grrr made target via other routes already though.

To whomever was discussing daily surveys further up the page I think you can use previous daily survey links to get a daily survey which will count for that day rather than today do to speak, I'm sure this has been mentioned in here somewhere before & it certainly works that way for nr. Ie on Sunday I used Friday's daily survey link & got credited as I didn't use it on Friday & also the same with Saturday's link & got credited

  • There's a 350SB TS doing the rounds - I can only assume it's looking for Civil Servants and the like (when asked if I worked in an Education or Government-type job, said 'no' and immediate DQ)

Its taken me more than 3 hours to get to 100/70. Biggest earner so far was a 50SB TS on Computer Operating systems.

Yep, probably, there's been a few 350-400 SB TS available in the past few weeks. Most of them (apparently) wanted IT higher-up Managers, etc.
Just the ideal demographic for people on Swagbucks all day, obviously?!
