Done my casino tasks, anyone else finding it harder for the tickbox to confirm you've visited the site, i.e. have to keep clearing cache & swapping between IE & chrome

On a side note, and I know its OT, but this has just made me realise how much Google Chrome affects the Google results, i.e. search for online gambling in Chrome is around #10 in the results, same search in IE brings it up to #1, bit confusing as have cleared cookies in both, and signed in / out on both with same results :P

Apparently there has been an issue with the casino tasks and chrome - people on facebook were saying that they couldn't get any of the tasks to work with chrome. I always use IE for the tasks - for me it's always been quicker than other browsers, although I use Chrome for almost everything else. Task #16 is broken I think - it always says that you need to go to the site by searching for it, no matter what browser I use. There have been complaints about that task on the crowdflower help forum, and they say that their 'technology' team are working on it

Keep trying the tasks, GarnettLady - don't give up on them entirely. There are some that are worth doing. The 4sb Fisher tasks are good, and there are sometimes ones where you have to say if an item on ebay is in the correct category. There have been some called 'Topic Relevance for Articles' which are quite easy - you have to say how relevant a given topic is to an online article. The casino tasks are always worth doing as well :)
Just got 20sb from casino tasks :) Can't get task 16 to be accepted though, keeps saying -
You must go to the site mentioned by searching for it.

But I have... That aside will def try more.

The casino tasks usually come out between 11.45 and midnight. What I do is to keep refreshing the page until the first one comes out, click on it straight away, do the task then go back to the task page and keep refreshing until the next one comes out. You have to be very quick though with most of them. Once you have done the tasks you will find that they stay highlighted for next time, so it gets easier to find the sites. The telephone numbers, by the way, are all the same - some sites have phone numbers and others don't. You get to know which ones do have them after a while - paste the phone number into a word document and then just copy and paste into the task once you know which ones need phone numbers

  • That's fab, thanks Paul. I'm quite often up at that time (esp just now as small person likes to wake up), so makes sense to do them now I know how straightforward they are, all helps after all!

When you get used to doing the casino tasks there is no reason why you can't get 40sb a day - even 60sb if you are lucky. I always leave tasks 5 and 7 until the morning - they are almost always still there at 8am. If you get your bar to 80% then straight away when the new swagbucks day starts, you can do the two remaining tasks and you will then have 20sb to give you a good start to the day :)

I gave up trying to understand any reasoning behind the tasks - they tend to be a law unto themselves. They do have 'test' tasks amongst them, but usually it tells you if you've got one of those wrong and that's when the accuracy percentage falls. It could well be another glitch in their system - if you look at the online help forum for crowdflower it is full of complaints

I got kicked out of this task as well. I signed in to do some yesterday and submitted the first one. I thought I was doing OK as I'd done a few of these successfully the previous day. As soon as I pressed submit I was told that I had got three answers wrong. How come? I'd only submitted the first answer. I didn't recognise anything that I was supposed to have got wrong!
    Don't mess with pensioners.
