I'm fairly new to all this... For those watching SBTV (and adverts) - don't you worry about your broadband usage, or do you all have accounts with unlimited downloads ? I have sufficient quota, but still feel guilty about wasting all that bandwidth (neighbours might be trying to do something useful).

plusnet provides unmetered usage overnight, but I don't feel like staying up all night for a few pennies.

Would be nice to find a web proxy which could swallow the data without forwarding it, or reducing the quality on the fly, or something.

Personally, I think if you pay for your bandwidth then you can use it however you like - would your neighbours consider your usage when they are torrenting?

Proxies aren't possible as they need scripts for the automation that SB can detect - similar to browser automation addons.

    PM'd you!

If a code is not for uk it simply won't work.

Usually the ones with the random string of letters and numbers at the end are unique for each person - things like the recent blog codes to vote would change if you refreshed the page thats in addition to having country specific codes. But if the shared code worked then fair enough - I've tried it once and it said that the code had already been used and I recieved an inbox warning for code sharing :o

Sharing codes is prohibited in the ts&cs.

I also only ever seem to get search points once per day. Only got 4 of those collector's bills too.

Anyone had any luck with the swagstakes? Are they worth it?

How do you get that bit under your posts with your earnings or personal message please?

If you periodically check on Facebook (especially the US site) you will see posts saying 'thanks for dubs/trips' etc. If you see that then it's often a good time to try a search. I've found that sometimes if you don't get a win immediately, wait a couple of minutes, then go onto the next page of search results, wait again and go to page 3 and then page 4. If still no win go back to the home page, wait a few more minutes, then try another search. If still no win I give up then and try again later. If you can, try just after 8am, then again around noon, late afternoon and evening. Also keep a look out on here - if you see that someone has won for a search, then it's a good time to try.

The bit under the posts with earnings etc is your 'signature'. If you click on 'quick links' at the top of this page, then 'edit signature' it will let you add things like earnings, quotes etc

I've never tried Swagstakes but I seem to recall someone on here winning something. I guess like any competition, 'you need to be in it to win it'.

Welcome to the flu club, Happi - it visited me last weekend and stayed over Christmas. I'm improving a little but still not back to normal :(
