I know this is an old thread - but for anyone stumbling across this Nationwide, Abbey and Halifax now offer Newbuy with PX for existing homeowners:

Both Nationwide and Abbey have also cut their rates for Newbuy recently. All available through brokers only and each lender has a set list of developers that they work with.0
