Yeah I noticed that too, for some reason linksys decided to change the way they handled quotation marks from one version to the next which truncated my 1st key so I had to swap the character. When the linksys died I kept the key without quotes and entered it in to the netgear, but the netgear didn't seem to like it.0 -
On the very first attempt to connect, have you selected unencrypted mode? Twice in my recent experience in different households I fould that I just could not get a connection to work even though the same key was entered on both sides, wireless router and PC's wireless lan adaptor. Once a connection was established I switched back to encrypted mode and it connected and OK ever since.
It was already working this morning and had been for months and as I said it was all wireless devices that could no longer connect. It wasn't a "first connection" it was an established connection that stopped working without changing anything."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Try turning encryption off completely and see if it can connect, then turn encryption back on. Worth a try.0
