my eagerly awaited onesee (babgrow for adults without the feet). it fits perfectly, in fact i ordered bigger so it wasnt streched, but the minute i sat down 3 out of the 4 most important buttons opened. they will not stay closed no matter how many times i do them up. i know with a similar problem i just made the holes smaller which seemed to solve the problem. but being that they are my main escape route i dont want to need to open in a hurry and end up ripping it because it is too tight. can anyone please elp with a solution because at the moment i have a piece of a4 paper that i am using as a temporary measure, any suggestions greatly received

Put a few stitches into each button hole so that they are smaller, its easier than taking all the buttons off and buying bigger ones and then having to sew them all on again.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

I started off suggesting that thought that is beyond a lot of people..
I don't believe in buying anything.. but basic buttons cost a few pence each.. or you can recycle them of other items of clothing.. everything has a spare button or 2 that can be utilised.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

thanks, thats what i have done before myself and have a couple of cardis waiting for same to be done. its just so annoying to have to sew something not even worn yet. do these companies care at all about the items they make0 -
You could take the easy option and salvage a zip and have half buttons and half zip0

you could sew on press studs so that every thing stays done up but is easy to open and the buttons remain as a decorative feature - this sort of thing:

hmm for some unknown reasone have never considered using those and as you say the buttons could then be just a feature. my only problem then would be the amount of work done would no doubt be a lot longer then the time it would last me. i am extremely clumsy since my accident and everything ends up with huge tea stains on that i can never remove so whatever the item it would end up as many discloth type things. but it would be handy for the cardis so will definitely buy some are these the average price??? or should i shop around?0 -
Why not just refund it? It is not fit for purpose so to speak.£36/£240
