Hi at present 'am with EDF' Blue Sept 2013 Tariff, should I switch to EDF'S longer tariff April 2014? After this winter's increases, will they continue & probably into 2013 winter? Obviously the longer fixed tariff's rates are slightly higher.

Thx

Hi for me the difference in tariffs are 2013 (Day) 11.32p, (Night) 5.92p (What 'am on at moment) & the 2014 (Day) 11.75p, (Night) 6.10p, so a little more than 16p per year. Like you say peace of mind though.

Cripes, I'm on E7 and while my day rate is increased, my night rate is reduced. Suits me fine as I have storage heaters... Weird that its so variable by region.

I swapped on the off chance I wanted to stay another year in the property but the cost is negligible for me... I can't believe both your rates have increased.
