Para-Olympic Tickets

I bought Para-Olympic tickets to the athletics for myself and my boyfriend, however I have just found out I will not be able to go, but my boyfriend would still like to go with a friend. As the tickets are in my name, and I will be on a flight throughout the event, and therefore not contactable (as it states on their website the ticket holder must be) will my boyfriend still be able to use the tickets?

Seems stupid he should have to miss out just because the tickets are in my name!

Do you have the tickets? If so, there won't be problem as they don't check that carefully. . If you have to collect them, have you also been offered a print at home option? Which should be no problem if you make sure your boyfriend has access to the relevant email account
