Scraping, industrial thinners, or more likely to have at home liquid metal polish ( don't shake you just need the fluid ) shifts most adhesives .

I used WD-40 to remove stickers and their glue from our fridge. Don't know whether it would be OK on laminate flooring. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly...0

Hi hobo,
I'm another fan of WD 40 for removing sticky residue but as rlm says you'd have to check it wouldn't damage the floor first.
This older thread on the In My Home board may help: Laminate floor

Lakeland do something called sticky stuff remover, you can get it elsewhere as well.Smells of oranges and is safe on most surfaces except paper and unwashable things.I have used it for years its about £2.95 a bottle.Just recently used it on a laminate and a solid oak floor without any problems.0

Can someone please help.
I used double sided tape on the laminate floor to keep wire for fairy lights need. I cannot get tape of the floor, any ideas ?
Thanks0 -
I've never tried it (don't have laminate) but could you try melting the sticky bit by warming it up with a hairdryer...?0
-
The hairdryer idea sounds good. Some whiskey or rum might get the stickiness off0

Try a little bit of oil and rub it around.0

I think I'd try nail polish remover and hope it didn't do anything nasty to the surface of the laminate.0

WD40 or warm water and washing up liquidBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
