What on Earth is Firefox playing at - New Version available????

I signed on this morning to find out that Firefox was informing me that Version 15 was now available and that my broweser was out of date yet again....
Does anyone know why Firefox keeps on updating to a completely new version so often please???
I love Firefox as all the addons make comping sooo easy, but everytime it updates to a new version, you can guanrantee one or more Addons will struggle to work.
And I have heard that they are already working on different versions...

My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly
