I've just been told I'm getting a grant for £500!!!! I'm sooooo pleased (although they said they usually paid out £500 but I could have asked for £1,000 so am now kicking myself)... I didn't want to be greedy, and this way twice as many people get to be happy.

But woo hoo £500 richer than I was yesterday.

Bringing my total up to £727.23

:T :T well deserved I'd say. Hope you are feeling better..

Good luck to all those that are carbooting this weekend.:j

Hellllllllooooooooooo :D you are both right - OH still doing the fishy stuff and me still doing the crafty stuff :D

I laughed when you said the thread not been the same - you been missing all my crazyness?? :P Still as mad as a hatter - MH still not good and they keep messing about with my meds but i'm kinda learning to live with it!

How are you both doing? I think there was baby talk the last time i was on here??? then again knowing my head i completely made that up ;) Hope you are both well!!

Moneywise i am still ticking along with my DMP and have paid off about £3,000 now :D but i have sort of lost my focus on it with trying to get the business going :o so hopefully you guys will give me a good kick up the bum and get me re-motivated again!

Where is the Oct challenge thread? :D me needs to join :P

Good to see you back on form fairy!

I'll sort the new thread out later tonight, desperately cleaning the house for my students who arrive tonight at 11.30! Was hoping to do a car boot but I can't leave them to get breakfast alone so I'll see about doing an afternoon one.

  • I've had a couple of spendy days but everything was a good offer, discounted or bought with vouchers so all good value and a few refunds too - need to wait for it to all clear in the bank so I know whats what in October!!

Anyway, back to the challenge - £5 voucher used on an order from george which I used to buy a lovely long fleecey nightdress with a hood - hoping to keep the heating off for a bit longer, costs about £2-3 a day in gas to have the heating on a minimal amount so will keep wrapped up for as long as poss - I have given in and put the electric blanket on the bed now though :-)

Soooooo I've made target, woop woop!!

Looking forward to the October challenge and welcome back to Fairy!

  • Hi all welcomes back fairy well done to everyone hitting target or nearly getting there. Have a question does anyone know any good apps I can use to scan barcodes to see which shop has them at the best price. Going costco with bestie tommorow and want to check prices against othe places. Some of the stuff is cheaper but just want to check.

I have met my target 2 months in a row now so well pleased. Money making has been slow this month but I finally managed to sell 2 items this week and made £40. My total is £46.59 for this month. Thanks for inspiring me to try to make money where I can.

    Good luck to you all.
