As long as you are not pushing yourself too hard that you're not enjoying it so it would put you off in the future, then no - not trying too hard at all. Trying hard = more pennies
I remember back before I had 2 children, days of doing 10-15 MS in one day. Was fine getting the actual shops done, but then I used to hate getting home to write them all up, particularly the longer more detailed ones. Long and booooring!!
Talking on long and boring, I must get my tax return sorted for last tax years MSing, I've been lazy at keeping records of late, which is really silly of me as it will take 5 times as long going back over everything to get all the info accurate, as just taking 1 minute after writing up each job just to fill in a line of the excel document as I go along. Don't want to be leaving it all till the end of January and getting in a panic because it's due

:j Just redeemed £25 from Pureprofile.
I'm making a list at the mo of all the sites I need to try and check each week etc, so that I don't keep forgetting about some of them.
Pureprofile for example I rarely get email invitations from, but there is almost always a survey or 2 waiting for me on the Next Button, so I need to remember to check it regularly as they pay pretty fairly, and I like all the 5p/10ps for not qualifying as they all add up nicely to bump the total up to the £25 redemption level.
Must rememeber to check OnePoll each day too, and do SpudShillings each week! :cool:Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Oh, thanks Monkeynut - I hadnt heard of that one so Ill go check it out.
I got v confuddled over what I had counted and what I hadnt when it came to ebay so I do what I always do when Im confused. I make a spreadsheet(or list, or spider diagram!) Anyway, now I know where I stand and Im rather excited to say Im almost (like 27p away) from 2/3 of my goal within 1/3 of the month. Yay!
Total earned so far through all sources is £199.73 (though ebay fees need to be deducted from this when I get invoiced)
Feeling so motivated again, so back to decluttering and listing this am and hoping to get rid of all the current stuff by the end of the third week in October when I go on holiday. (Any current stuff not sold is going to charity the day before we fly out, so I come home to a lovely clear house!)0 -
My mattress has been getting steadily more and more uncomfortable and finally decided to do something about it this weekend. Was a little sceptical at first but a mattress topper really does make it like sleeping in a whole new bed, cost me at least £50 less than buying a new mattress too (the cheapest reasonable quality mattress I've seen being around £80). Tempted to add that to my total but I'm sure I'll have to replace the mattress eventually, still am happy with it.0
