Anyone know a date and fig cake recipe please?

Options
My mum is hankering to make a date and fig cake like she used to, but has lost the recipe. I've looked in the recipe collection with no joy and wondered if anyone here knows of any please?

I tried searching on the internet but that wasn't much help either as the returns were either date or figs and not together.

Try https://www.astray.com, typing in both dates and figs. You will find results with fruitcake, Christmas cake etc.
Alternatively, try substituting 50/50 to a good recipe instead of using either all one or the other.
