HSBC Fee Free Mortgage

Options
Is this deal too good to be true or is there a catch? I need to borrow 40K for a property worth 110,000, they are offering free evaluation and a tracker at 3% with no redemption penalities.
Any suggestions/advice on this one thanks?

dont know actually, I just found it online!
  • OH has just switched from Santander to HSBC for the above deal. No fees. Lifetime tracker. No early repayment/over payment fees.

    Seemingly there is no catch...

There is a catch and that is if they approve your application.

Basically HSBC is very picky at the moment, so if you think you pass their lending criteria you should try as it is a very good deal indeed.

It does seem a very good deal indeed. I have been accepted in principal but will find out for sure on Wednesday if I have been accepted.
