The plumber we use has recommended Bristan taps as they are easy to repair. He said a lot of the taps on sale are usually replaced after a couple of years, rather than repaired. We found Screwfix to have the best prices and lots of special offers.
"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.

That's just for the taps, what about sinks...? I'm in the same position as Ka7e.... have no idea about brands or what to look for. Sinks all look ok when new...

I checked the brand of my current sink/tap and it's FRANKE. I've looked at their models and they look very good , although not cheap! We'll probaby go for another one of these.
  • Hi
Yes Franke is very good brand but as Alisha2008 said quite expensive...
It's really depends what kind of kitchen tap you want. You will have to pay a lot for professional taps, e.g. plumbonline.net/store/taps/kitchen-taps/gola-professional-kitchen-sink-mixer.html
Simply looking tap (but good quality!) you can get for £60. All these cheaper than £50 aren't very good quality in my opinion...:(
