Tesco discontinues PG Tips loose tea

I discovered this morning that Tesco no longer sells PG Tips loose tea. I know it's not a cheap option but I have drunk it ALL my life! I do not intend to change to another brand or to teabags so I have to change my supermarket. I wish that Tesco would have some consideration for dinosaurs like me!:(

try Sainsbury's red label loose tea, this makes a good cup.

I second this, I was reared on the stuff.

However I have since discovered Brooke Bond Taj Mahal tea and do use Sainsbury's and Tesco organic tea bags cos no one seems to do organic loose tea

I find Tesco's selection of 'proper' tea has has greatly diminished recently and I now buy tea(bags) from Poundstretcher.

I'm not spending £2.99 on 40 x Lahsa Apso or other poncy stuff in Tesco when I can get 300 x Ty-Phoo for less in Poundstretcher.

Local Turkish shop has a massive selection of loose tea, very good value for money also xx

well, sorry sounds like people really think you should.....

according to my supermarket, at least online, S's and W still sell it, too cheap and long lasting to suggest you order online though.

Finally, for the connoisseurs, this is a reputable ebay seller highly recommended on tea forums, although I've not tried them myself yet.
(it isn't as expensive as it looks because good quality chinese tea is meant to be brewed more than once)

Sainsburys do organic loose tea

I prefer loose tea and will only drink Sainsbos red label. I will dimb down and drink a variety of tea bags as they are generally rank by comparrison and I consider them an entirely different drink. IYKWIM.
