I know lots of you are very crafty and I'm hoping you can help me.
I have been reading various blogs and would like to have a go at transfer prints on to cushions. I have access to a toner photocopier, please could you tell me a cheap method of transferring the print to fabric?
I have read about Citra Solv and it's available on Amazon but at considerable cost, is there a cheaper alternative please?
Thanks for reading and please pass on your knowledge or ideas.

I made a memory quilt for my mum using the iron on cotton from here http://www.craftycomputerpaper.co.uk/.Iron-On-Cotton-Washable_024.htm
I printed out photo panels and poems and quilt them in panels and the quilt washes beautifully.
It does fade in time but this was approx 10 years ago and my mum uses it all the time

Hi D&DD
Your quilt sounds beautiful, lots of hard work but I'm sure your Mum appreciated it.
I've had another thought since my earlier post, maybe I could stencil some words onto the material. Now I just need to find the paint to do that.

My DD uses t-shirt transfer paper, you print on to the paper and then iron on to the fabric. Tesco sells the transfer paper in their everyday range.

Try the first one on a bit of scrap fabric until you get used to it.0 -
