what is the best mortgage deal at the moment

after 20 years with being with abbey, my husband wants to switch the mortgage elsewhere. can anyone tell me the best high street place to go. who's got the best offers?

    No such thing as the "best" mortgage or "offer".

    Some people like fixed rates some like variable, some have a good credit record some have a bad one, some need a high LTV some need only a low LTV.

    Speak to a broker about your likes and dislikes, aims and ambitions, wants and needs and I'm sure they will be able to point you in the right direction.
