Buying from Next online

Hi all
I've found some nice trousers and other bits on Next's website, and thought I'd order as they seem to have my more robust size
and the shops don't tend to (a bit of a demoralising experience).
I got through to the checkout bit and began entering my details and it presented me with do I want to pay 3.99 for delivery, or 3.75 for delivery and have them send a catalogue. A silly question, really!
It then explained they were about to do a credit check (whichever option I chose), but I don't want an account - I just want to pay! And I don't want a credit search to be recorded just for buying some new clothes!
Is this the only way to buy from Next online? Or did I missed a screen or something?
Thanks in advance :A

I am pretty sure you have to have an account set up with them, they then bill you every month and you can pay online/over the phone or set up a regular payment. You can opt out of having a catalogue and so not pay this charge and you can get items delivered to store for free rather than paying the delivery charge. if it is your first order then you could get their offer of £10 off - I have seen them giving out details of this discount in store if you sign up to the directory but I am not sure how this works if you don't go in a store, whether you can just do it online of not0

I managed to do an online order -- and pay at same time.
If memory serves me correctly, ( and it was only a couple of weeks ago), once you select the delivery, you then have an option to pay immediately. Not sure if they do a credit search at that time.0
