Olympic Park access with event ticket?

Hi all,

We've been lucky enough to get tickets for an evening Athletics event and are wondering if we'll be able to go to the Olympic Park in the the morning and spend all day looking around, watching the big screens and just soaking up the atmosphere before we see the Athletics.

I've seen on the London 2012 site that people can stay in the park AFTER their events but I haven't found anything about whether people can go in BEFORE their events!

Does anyone know the answer?

Yes you can, though I would check to see what time the park opens on the relevant date. What we did for the Olympics was to have lunch at Westfield then spend the afternoon and evening in the park. Bear in mind though that there isn't much under cover if it rains.

If you have an Olympic Park event ticket you can enter the park as early as you want and stay as late as you want.
