Nationwide valuation to offer?

Hi,
We submitted our full mortgage application last Friday and had a txt today saying the valuation has been booked in for tomorrow. I might be being really slowwww here (Ftb!) but we stay in Scotland and the home report/valuation has already been done? Is this just a standard thing they do and how long after that should we be expecting to hear about the offer?
Thanks :)

Is that a question or a statement of fact?

Sorry, should of made that more clear. We are aware the home report and valuation has been done by a surveyor that is on nationwides lenders panel. So I was just wondering is this a further valuation or just a standard txt that gets sent out.
