How to make lentil flan?

hi all ages ago I used to make a lentil flan from a recipe in a cookery book from a well known London vegetarian cafe beginning with C. I have given away the book and forgotten the recipe-can anyone help?

Thanks

Did it have cheese? I googled and found this based on a book from that restaurant you mentioned. Can't we call it by name for some MSE reason?

    Hi Gintot,

I make a very similar one to the link Corelli put, but I use a shredded wheat instead of breadcrumbs. Otherwise pretty much the same!

Thanks guys this recipe sounds delicious. I remember making the lentil flan in a pastry base so I'll give it a go. I think there was grated carrot in there too

Sorry Corelli didn't like to name names...........

The only difference in the 2 recipies is that the original says 1oz butter or margarine instead of olive oil and says salt and pepper to taste. Everything else, even the oven temperature, is the same

The book calls them lentil and cheese wedges.

There is a savoury mix in the book which mentions yellow split peas, not lentils and it says use the mixture to fill pies and pasties. That recipe contains grated carrot
