With the first Chicken I had 4 dinners, I live alone! And a Chicken stew that provided meals for 3 day's, so main meals for 7 day's cost £2.20. The cost of each Chicken was £2.22 (8) left ra ra ra I bought the Chickens from Tesco 3 for £10 so I bought 9=£30-£10 voucher on a spend of £30=£20 to pay = £2.22 a ChickenLow Carb High Fat is the way forward I lost 80 lbs

Just hazarding a guess here, but you must really like chicken.

I normally do a roast dinner with the full chicken. 2x legs for the kids and half a breast each for me and my husband.
The other breast becomes a curry or a chicken and vegetable pie. The rest of the meat I get off it gets mixed with mayonaisse and sweetcorn for lunches. Great with a jacket potato or in a wrap with salad.
The carcass then gets turned in to chicken and noodle or chicken and vegetable soup. So in all, 8 main meals and 8 lunches. Very cheap and very nice. I do buy a larger chicken though.£36/£240

how many days are you wanting to be fed for?
I think chicken breast works better than chicken thigh for corination chicken as the chicken thigh may be a bit rich for suttle corination.
Though if having eg chicken & bacon. thigh would better as gives more flavour.
Not sure how many days - but looking to start making my own sandwiches rather than buying ready made.
Thanks for the other tips!0 -
I use leftover chicken from a roast in stir fries, I find it gives a better flavour than chicken breast.
I also like this rice dish - chicken nasi goreng, just googled a receipe.

Other things I do with it - add to a pasta sauce, add to a basic cheese and tomato pizza with some veg0
