*NEW* Tesco H&B Vouchers - *See First Post for UPDATES*

Oh dear just come back from Tesco and had horrible experience. The checkout assistant looked at all my health beauty and toiletry vouchers - I had spent ages in various aisles working out best way of achieving points and money off.
He said that he could only take ONE called over supervisor who agreed and I then decided to leave all my shopping as I was embarassed and in temper.
Now I have no products and no dinner for this evening!!!

Oh well you can't always win

There are loads of the leaflets at Middlebrook, but an SA was guarding them like a hawk. They are by the make-up, on an end stand. I wen tot pick one up, and she dived in between me and them, then gave me ONE.

I went back later, and she was still there, so I asked if I could have a few to give away. She said OK, but when I went to pick them up, again, she lept in front of me, and gave me TWO!!!

Boo.

What a funny afternoon!

got my items.
Went to till area...
ALL STAFF ON TILL WERE SUPERVISORS!

Thought about putting it back, but realised i may as well give it a go.
Went to early twenties lad, who seemed to scan all my coupons. He has given me double differences back in past so knew of me a little.

When i looked at reciept, he had not quite scanned them all...although he took them all!

PLUS my mail coupon says
coupon 3.50
THE NEXT TENDER IS CANCELLED

so he obviously thought better of it!
however i only gave 1 50 pointer in, and on reciept it has come up as clubcard points coupon 100?!
plus he gave me 2 green clubcard points, and i wasn't reusing any bags...very odd.
My toiletries were still FREE though as total of vouchers used was £10.80 and my toiletries came to £8 something.

he also scanned my radox coupon wrong as mentioned on here before! which i went back about as he had charged me for another radox instead of taking 60p off. so he gave me the £1.48 back but not the 60p nor the coupon.
Was Not going to argue though, plus the kids were fed up and being a bit noisy.
so all in all an odd trip!

Im off now to do a Tesco/voucher dash.. Im abit worried now though after reading of people being refused hahaha.. Im abit worried my time to get busted will be coming soon..like in the next 30mins! Eeek! :eek: here goes.

Had a funny day today too. Spent £8 after bogofs on toiletries and over £30 on shopping, handed over 1x £2.50 off £10 spend, 1 x £2 off £8 spend, 1x £1.25 off £5 spend, daily mail token, free butter (anchor which I had bought), and a few 30p/25p manufacturers coupons, and all she scanned was 30p and 25p man' coupon. Had to go to CS to get the butter on and £2 off £8 ones accepted but very odd.

Just been told I could only use 1 X£2 voucher. The young girl told me at first I had to buy something on the picture and then called over a supervisor to ask her and she said only 1 per transaction. They didn't realise I hadn't spent £8 (BOGOF!!). So my first knock back. It wasn't that traumatizing. I did try to sweet-talk the girl around but she said she would get into trouble if she tried!!!
Well, there's always tomorrow???!!!

Was anyone off here in The Social in Nottingham city centre today?
My boyfriend was on the bar and heard someone ask their friend if there were any tescos around as she had a coupon craving!! :rotfl:
He was very surprised as he thinks im a crazy lady and I've made all you lot up who share my voucher obsession!!

(Also he says they didnt have a drink either, which would suggest MSEr )
