Roboform renewal

Options
Guys,

I've dowloaded Robofom as was advised by many and thought it was free to download and use. But today it gave me a message saying 'Trial period expires in 7 days' and asked to buy roboform to renew the licence. I thought it was free..!!... does anybody know what is happening and whether I'm doing something wrong....wouldn't really want to pay for thing that I might be able to get free....but if there's no alternative, I might consider doing it, because Roboform is such a 'time-saver'....would really appreciate your advice...many thanks...

Hi, it is free and you can keep it and use it for free. However, you don't get all the features for free. You get a limited number of passcards, and I can't remember what else. I used the free version for a while, but eventually gave in and paid for the full version. To me, it's worth it because now it auto fills so many comp forms for me. Though this doesn't work for FB because (unless I've set it wrong, which is quite possible) it sees all the FB comps as one site.

The free version saves a lot of time. The paid version saves more. So you can decide whether you think it's worth it to you or not :)

Thanks very much for your reply Blulu, I'll keep using free version for now as you suggest and see for myself whether I would want to get paid version....I appreciate your comments and advise..x

If you don't want to pay, try LastPass, that's free and I much prefer it to Roboform:

    https://lastpass.com/

It's a Password Manager too, so you can use it to generate secure Passwords and set it to automatically Log you in to sites that require it.

If you add another identity to it then it will expire. I think the free version has a limit or only 2 identities.

I presume that you're talking about Roboform ? I have multiple identities on LastPass and haven't had to pay anything.

I've got only 2 identities though, still it requires me to buy a new licence...don't know what's up with it..
