Wrinkles around mouth

I'm lucky to have fairly good skin with few wrinkles for my age (50s) except I've recently noticed vertical lines above my upper lip,

I've noticed some people hardly move their top lip when they talk and others ( like me) move it a lot. I don't know if that makes a difference or if it's genetics. I do know that when my Dad died in his 70s he never had a line on his face but Mum at that age was heavily lined especially around the mouth. despite all the care in the world my skin is going the same way as my Mums did.

Try and drink more water. It does wonders for your skin.0

Drink water from a glass, not a bottle, as the latter involves pursing your lips.0

peels will soften them . but fillers and botox is the only way to really show a marked difference.0

Not planning to go down the botox route and looks like I'm stuck with the wrinkles, though may splash out on some more intensive moisturiser. It's over 30 years since I smoked (and only did that for five or six) so that's not the cause or at least if it is it's too late!
I have noticed an improvement to my skin generally the more water - and less coffee - I drink, so I need to keep that up.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0
