Hello Just a Quick question please?
Im starting working as an occasional p/t carer in addition to my permanent p/t job.
I understand that I have to claim some mileage allowance through HMRC but Im reading that I might be able to claim for uniform, shoes, MOTs/tyres/repairs...
I m struggling to find a reliable source of exactly what I can claim for and rates.
Can anyone please help?
Thanks

Hi - the rates quoted on the HMRC website are the maximum that can be paid free of tax. HMRC do not set the amount to be paid - the empoyer makes that decision.0
