Scrap that, just read the reviews which state no recline function - shame as it looks like a bargain!

It's a good price but I wouldn't put a child below 2 in it. It seems good for a booster seat though.
I can't be bothered updating this anymore
  • hey does any know wen it finishes? xx
  • I emailed Asda a couple of days ago and got this back, so it's on for another week

Thank you for your email about our baby event.
Our baby event is finishing on the 9 September 2012.

Anyone know if this seat reclines back slightly for younger babies? I'm looking at it for DS (nearly 10 months) but I need one that has a recline function as it looks very uncomfortable for him so upright?

if u are looking for something along those lines id defo go for a britax 123 like this
    http://www.nurserysuperstore.com/britax-evolva-1-2-3-car-seat-jet.html
this has a bit underneath which u flip over that leave the car seat in a constant recline. its just enough so if the fall asleep the dont lull their heads but not too much they feel constantly lay back

my LO is now 2 and a half and i have flipped it back so it doesnt have the recline bit their as he very very rarely sleeps in the car and even if he does the head bit is so good he just rests his head on it

ive had mine since my LO was 9months and when we bought a 2nd car i went for exactly same one.

it really is a brill car seat and the head hugger thing is really secure and so good in case of an accident as it stops their head from jerking side ways

one thing i would say is when you are installing it climb into the car and force your knee into the seat and press as far back as you can and pull the straps to tighten it. when i 1st bought it i thort it was a bit loose but this worked a treat and its near impossible to move at all xx

i would also recommend the britax 123 i have two of them for my son, one for my partners car and one for my parents, in my partners car because we go for long journeys i leave it in a constant recline its not to reclined but if he does go to sleep its enough to be slightly reclined so his head doesnt slouch forward, you've got the option of using a harness or seatbelt, my son is almost 5 and i'm still using it will a harness and theres still room for him to grow and stay in the harness if i wish. also i've had training with britax and they are the only company that crash test their car seats for side impact, all other seats can say they have side impact protection but britax are the only company that actually test it.

We also have the 123 it's brill, LO sleeps fine in it. Had it since he was just over 1. Worth every penny in my view

It looks like Asda and Tesco baby events are running neck-a-neck.
My boy is on Huggies superdry so I checked both retailers - Asda offers 2for£10 and Tesco's price is £4.99 for 1. Off to Tesco then - every little helps :)
