Can anyone tell me what the spend is on the new £5.00 off kids is, I remember usually £20.00 or £25.00 from previous experinces.
Just trying to pre plan spends as a very kind friend is sending me some, not from here of course.

The £10 blue must (imho) be scanned first..............

Well IMHO Leadhead, it doesnt always, as I said, Ive never had a problem. According to the 2 reciepts I have handy my £10 blue was either scanned 13th or 16th on one and 4th, 5th or 11th on the other.

But, to be safe, I would suggest keeping it on the top of the pile anyway ;)

I'll repost my post from the Tesco Clothes thread if it helps, sorry its so long, wanted to get everything in!

I think Leadhead (and others) have posted lots of combo ideas before, but the basics are
if you spend £60 (£35 womens and/or mens and £25 kids)
    you can use
    £10 blue
    £6 blue mens
    £6 blue womens
    £4 blue kids
£10 new (sorry dont know the colour! :rotfl: )
    £7 new
    £5 new
    £6 yellow x2
    £6 get active x2
    £6 new quit x2

    Giving you a MAXIMUM £84 off a £60 spend

If you dont buy kids clothes, spend £70 on mens and/or womens and use
    £10 blue
    £6 blue mens x2
    £6 blue womens x2
    £10 new
    £7 new x2
    £6 yellow x2
    £6 get active x2
    £6 new quit x2

    Giving you a MAXIMUM £94 off a £70 shop

I say maximum in caps as this obviously depends on
    Choosing the right SA
Making sure none of your clothes are reduced without being marked (which Ts are prone to doing) (This can be solved by going a few pounds over just to be sure or cheking all items on price checkers).
Also, sometimes the £10 blue and £4 blue do not scan for some reason we have not fathomed (although this has never happened to me)(This can usually be solved by putting them first in the pile to be scanned.)
And, most obviously, actually having all of the above coupons!!

As you can see though, you only need a set of blue, a set of new and 2 yellows or get actives to get free clothes!

Hope thats everything. Please someone correct me if im wrong (its the only way I'll learn ;) )
    HTH

Also, at the risk of confusing some of the noobs, there is also an old set of blues which are 10,6,5,4 all off any clothes which used to be sent to people before these new ones, now you can only get them on ebay for hideous amounts of money (for coupons) or a VERY good swap :D Because they have different barcodes to the £26 blue set, they can be used together.

Also as someone reminded me on the other thread, there is a mailing that went to a selected few people that includes a £10 off a £50 spend voucher which (presumably) can be used with all above vouchers as well as points vouchers.

Can you use these vouchers in combinations if you do the self-scan checkout? I seem to have a bad track record when it comes to having vouchers and coupons rejected and I just hate the embarassment.

Do I just need to toughen up a bit?

Forgive me for thinking my earlier post answered this question :o
To use all the vouchers you have, you need to spend £60 (£35 mens and/or womens and £25 kids)
You can then use a 10, 7 and 5 from the new set and 2 get active ones giving you £34 off a £60 spend, leaving you £26 to pay. Not bad, but too much for me!

You probably could Monty, but there's always the danger that the coupons will need authorising and you may be spotted and shamed. For that reason I use a manned (or womanned) till but with my general rule being that the lad/lass must be under 25.

You should be OK if you go on Friday evening or over the weekend, there are plenty of young 'uns on the tills then who are happy to scan coupons galore. If you hand over your stash and ask 'could you see if any of these scan please, I have bought lots of clothing so I was hoping they may be OK' then there should be no problem unless you get the Supervisor from Hell swooping down (she can be found at B***y store, one of Welshy's locals).

Even then, at least at a manned till it's not you who has done the scanning...;)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
