Just tried to take a pair of jeans back for refund, but was refused as I had only paid £4 cash and they were £20.
Was allowed to exchange for something else, though.0 -

I took some shorts back on monday they cost 14.00 pounds i spent 20.00 pounds on clothing but should have been 85.00 pounds so i just exchanged them for some thing else as i dont want them to see how many coupons i used plus it stops any one geting in trouble. I dont push my look .

After purposely avoiding Tescos for the last few days, I feel refreshed, well enough to do some clothing shops on the weekend.
In my office today I had 6 free insulation covers for lucozade bottles, 10 sample packs of Mars planets, a Morrisons bounty goodie bag and I didn't even set foot outside - my best freebie though was an extra day's holiday for the Queens Birthday ............... we also had a book sale and I got a set of Dr who books RRP £59.99 for just £10 (Dr Who Christmas special 2006 was filmed in my office).
on the way home I quickly went to Morrisons, got a bounty goodie bag, was given 2 free green garden waste bags and a cloth shopping bag and a neighbour said that she was surprised to see me in Morrisons because as her husband had remarked I always seem to be taking tesco shopping into my house !
I have saved money this week by avoiding unnecessary trips to Tescos and more importantly I have gained some free time.
Now I have time to organise my vouchers and get clothing combining this weekend. Thanks Patty for the vouchers I have sent you some in return.

Had a disastrous clothing shop at Tesco. Have decided to give up clothing combining as it never seems to work for me.
The cashier was lovely and 'helpful' but was very anxious when presented with a very respectable mere three clothing vouchers in one transaction. She said that she would normally just scan them through and see if they were accepted but said that the store had become 'very hot on vouchers' and wanted to check with the supervisor to cover her own back.
Fair enough, obviously, but disapppointing as I only bought clothes from Tesco because of the vouchers. They aren't particularly cheap and I won't be bothering again.Had my fingers burnt too many times now.
I'm going back to online shopping as I'm finding the whole coupon/voucher inconsistencies are winding me up. Incidentally, I got two vouchers accepted today that were refused at the weekend and I still haven't managed to shift my solitary book voucher yet!0 -
jo_b I have empathy with you as I do feel exactly the same, it was nice to be in Morrisons today not worrying about whether the vouchers will be accepted.
The £10, £7 and £5 and the yellow run out on the weekend so after this weekend I won't be clothing shopping either.
