A drizzly start to the day here

Hope today goes really well for you ps, don't let the nerves get the better of you, you'll be fine

How's your ankle today Becks? Hope it's better and not so painful. Also hope your plumber manages to sort out your sink.

Quiet day planned today, DH is back to work tomorrow, his 2 weeks off have gone so quickly. He has finally said that he thinks he will stay full time until December when he will be 66 then see about cutting his hours down. He's worried about stopping altogether as he sees it as the beginning of the end. He enjoys his time off, but likes the thought that he can still go back.

Ankle feels ok today thanks Sue. It has spells where its sore but usually only in the cold so was a bit of a surprise when it started aching this week.

Thanks for the comments about my wedding photos sylvia... I know they are beautiful really I am just very self critical of anything with me in :rotfl:

Talking of holidays Sue... Work have refused my second week of my July hol next year which means I have to go back to work on my birthday ... A first for me I have never worked my birthday. Bit sad really as booked the weeks deliberately so wedding anniversary was in middle of two weeks off and they are saying i cant have second week so last day if my hol will be my wedding anniversary

Love the kitten pic Sue! Great your DH wants to keep working. Mine stopped at 58 as his back and neck couldn't handle it any more. He had been going to stop anyway though as holidays were always such a problem. Not getting the school holidays was the main reason I never went back to work after having DD too. In the "old days" you got holidays based on your length of service but European rules stopped that.
Shame you can't get the holidays you want Becks. I wanted to go back to Las Vegas on my 10th Anniversary and I wasn't allowed the time off. You will just need to celebrate a little earlier. You could be naughty and be "sick" for a few days especially if you are away!

dh is not doing much just says he wants to potter about (not that he does anything else much:o:rotfl:

i've cleaned through, done the dailies, got stuff ready for dinner tonight so am just going to comp & potter as well :rotfl:

we've drizzly rain here at the moment
but am glad it rained through the night, supposed to be brightening up later :j

Can i ask a small request tomorrow for those who can do pictures and are willing to do so for me but as tomorrow would have been my gorgeous cousins 9th birthday could I please ask for a morning of sunflowers. It will be a difficult day for all the family but would mean a lot to me if i can try and be positive and have a lovely sunflower display for his birthday in his memory
