We had an afternoon of Only fools here too, loved the triple Christmas one, "No Rodney, I'll buy the sandwiches, you bought the Rolls!", Classic!
DD has spent a while giving me a manicure and has now polished me up. They look really nice, a mushroomy colour with a tiny holographic glitter on top. She's a nail fanatic so knows what she's doing, they look lovely.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Hi Jill,
Nice to hear from you. How come you haven't dropped by before have you only just found us? We are a happy lot of here so happy comping and good luck. What have you won since 2009?
It isn't exactly raining here in Durham but it has for most of the day, hope its better tomorrow.
Catch you later, off to party now, I sooo hate parties, I always seem to land up doing the clearing up and can't drink as my DH does'nt drive (I wonder why) just popped by for a quick look whilst he is in the shower.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Thanks for the welcome! I like this place already, it's good to read what other compers are up to
I'm getting a head start on tomorrows comps because with the forecast being for sun we're hoping to use a Groupon for a Bird of Prey centre near here. I love owls so I'm hoping to hold one!
Do you lot get ahead with comps when you're going to be having a busy day or just skip that day?
May you all have lots of luck, Emma xx0 -
I try to be at least 2 days ahead, at the end of the month I speed up a bit and get a bit more 'picky' with what I enter because the last couple of days of the month are usually very comp heavy. I'm trying something new at the moment though. I comp by each day sorting the board into recently posted order and bookmarking the ones that I fancy into monthly folders. I haven't made a folder for October and will try not to. I am changing the end dates to a date in September and saving them in the September folder. Towards the end of September and during October I will do them as they are posted and start doing November's too, this is in the hope that come December when all of the Advent comps are about, I will be well ahead. That's the theory anyway.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Evening everyone.
I got soaked walking the dog earlier. It wasn't raining that bad when I went out, but I was just starting to come back and it poured down. Its meant to be nice here too.
Purple - Ive not been too busy yet that I can't fit in comps ending next day and my dailies yet, but most of the comps ending in next day Ive already entered as once Ive done them and the dailies I start doing the comps that have been posted and Im only a couple of days behind now. So as long as I can fit in an hour or so Im happy. That might change once I find a job though.Current Aims: Laptop/PC, decent money, holiday
Best Wins: Ipad, Nintendo 3DS, £400 Shopping Spree at LK Bennett, £100 Boots vouchers

I enter comps by newest first, so if I'm out during the day, then I'll just catch up with the comps in the evening or when I get home.2019 Wins
