What a wet and miserable day! DH has just got back from walking Cooper and they are both soaked through. DD and I were going to Canterbury this morning to collect the bracelet that I won, she still wants to go, but it's horrible out there

Hope things are quiet for you now wingo, I kept thinking about you last night.

Hope your cold is better soon Fire**fly, I thought I'd got one in the week, but it didn't come to anything thank goodness.

Hope you had a better night too cezzy. It's so lonely in the early hours, feels like you're the only person awake in the world.

Morning all.

Friday again already? This week has gone so quick. I think Sylvia started it by thinking it was Wednesday on Tuesday :rotfl:

Pay day today and despite doing nearly another weeks worth of extra hours my pay was only £60 more so not going to do much overtime for them now as it really isn't worth it. If i only got paid £60 a week for my normal hours I wouldn't be impressed.

Still no wins for me yet this week. Maybe today and if not today next week

Sounds like you will have a nice peaceful day FF - wish my DH would go out for the day sometimes!
You will have to post a pic of your bracelet when you get it Sue.
It is quite nice here today although not as nice as yesterday.
Have they started taking money off you for a pension Becks? I saw Morrisons was going to be one of the first companys to do it on the governments new scheme. One of DHs ex work colleagues used to refuse to do any overtime as they took more money off his child tax credit than he earned for it. One reason I don't work is that as I get a pension from 1st husband I pay so much tax.

Sheils yes we auto enrolled into it if we qualify. No idea how much it is as had no info at all so will look at wage slip when iget it and see if its taken any and if so how much. Makes me laugh as we have just had a pay rise so I am guessing though that this will take up any extra i would have got so really even though the cost of living is going up, my disposable take home income will actually go down

What a week. Feeling quite depressed and inadequate today. Every time I think I have got the hang of this comping thing another thing comes up and bites me. Facebook is still a mystery to me so must spend some time to get to grips with it more.

Also having my Sister to stay for a few days is great but she always wants to be out and about so I get behind (about 50 pages) and then panic until I catch up.

Glad you are feeling a bit better today Firefly and hope you have a nice relaxing day while your DH is out





Becks that doesn't seem a lot of money for all your efforts but at least its extra money in the kitty for Christmas!
