Hey everyone.:wave: Hope you're all okay.

The editor of the online magazine where someone had published my written work, claiming it as their own, got in touch with my last night and was very apologetic as he had no idea. He's taken the plagarised poem, is going to have a strong word with the user in question, and is going to Google the rest of her work to make sure that she hasn't stolen from anyone else.

I also came across her Facebook page and my poem was there, with her claiming that she wrote it. I asked her to take it down as I don't take kindly to others passing my work off as their own, and when I checked this morning, it had been removed.

Now just need to deal with this other website and the publisher who used my work as a book cover without my permission now!

Ooo another thing. I'm thinking of running a competition on my Facebook Photography page (obviously I won't post the competition here because it would be self-promotion, but not sure what the take is on other members posting it.:o).

What kind of prizes would people want to see? Bear in mind that I primarily shoot Conceptual/Nature/Wildlife so I don't do photoshoots etc.

Would people want to see a print of their choice as a prize? Or maybe a giftcard of their choice? i.e. Itunes, Amazon etc.
It won't be a like and share comp. It will either be a "When I hit so many likes" comp or an app comp.

How slow am I?

Did not realise The Inn was Sticky so almost had a panic attack going through the threads looking for it.

I apologise in advance for the mini rant about to follow...

ARGHHHHHHH sick and tired of my stupid workplace lately. Any department who is short seems I am ALWAYS the one who gets put there now. From 1230 -430 today I have been in the customer cafe WASHING UP without being asked if I minded going to help for a bit. Don't get me wrong I will help with anything but would be polite to ask if I mind or at least say "do it for an hour then someone can swap with you" ... Why is it only me who gets bloody moved from pillar to post. If certain supervisors don't want me on the tills on their shift they can come and explain to me why as at the minute they are succeeding if their aim is to make me want to leave.

Anyway how has everyone elses sunday been

Hi Becks, You have my sympathy. I used to work at M......s years ago. They had me on my hands and knees scrubbing chewing gum off the floor one day and also had to go and help in the staff canteen too. It really isnt fair. I totally agree with you. The best of it is they then ask you to do extra time when they are short staffed.
