Wingo we had rain on our wedding day and it didnt spoil it. You just have to make the most of any dry spells. Hopr your friend has a lovely wedding.

My new clothes have arrived. I love my boots. I said before they were an extravagance and i could send them back but no chance of that now ive seen them :rotfl: the skirt migh go back though... No sure why i ordered a skirt i never wear one :rotfl:

I can see my dining table again. It is cleared of all things weddingy :D just need to find homes for some booms now and then my living room will be almost back to normal. Then i suppose i best tackle the spare room and start clearaing that out. Going to be ruthless. Anything i think i can sell on Ebay I will anything else can go to the charity shops :D

Hi, wet here too. Not raining at the moment but was earlier.
You all have lovely pictures to put on. Love them.
Postie went past there about 10 mins ago and didn't even stop at my house. Our houses are funny we are not allowed to put fences or walls around the front of our houses (which I think is a cheek being told what I can or can not do with my house). So the Postie just walks across each house (doesn't come up the drive just walks right infront of your living room window) so when I see the Postie coming I get all excited, so disappointing when he just walks on.
No wins for me today. Have still to check my email.
Must start thinking what prizes I would like to win for ...... (dare I say it Christmas) and enter as many as I can.
Should be doing my housework another hour on the computer and then will start the housework.
    Have a Lucky day.

When you allow for a couple of weeks to end of competition and then another 4 - 6 weeks for delivery of the prize I think September would be an ideal time to start entering for Christmas. Hope we all have loads of luck and win useful prizes.

Postie has just bought me another book to review from Waterstones. Think I might stop for a while unless it's one I really want as am getting tonnes and tonnes of books and hardly anywhere left to store them all now. Sheils what do you do with yours once you have read and reviewed them?

Hi Becks - thought I'd stick my oar in!

I'm up to 130 books this year - a combination of wins and reviews. I've stopped entering for review ones as I've got a bit behind.

I either save mine for the charity we support as they have a book stall at their annual fete, give them to friends or I sell them to this site -
    http://www.webuybooks.co.uk

They refuse more than they take, but I've been lucky with some of the ones sent to review - they don't take proofs though. Once you get to £15 or above you can print a postage label off and post them off - they send a cheque in return. It's not huge amounts, but every little helps!

Good luck with the clear out Becks.
I haven't won anything for Xmas yet except some make up Dreams. Last year I had loads of little things.

Afternoon all, bit late in today as we went to Morrison's early then had to get lunch for DH before he goes to work.

Thanks to a PM from wingo I think I may have won £50 from a postal comp, right name and town, so fingers crossed.

Just entered a text one for £1 and a few posts down someone had kindly given the answers only to read further down and see that the post I used had got the wrong answers in it :( That'll teach me. I've PM'd the OP and they've put the correct answer in the first post now.

All the postie brought was £4 in vouchers from the Co-Op after I complained about vouchers being out of date in a kettle that I bought there. My Daughter always said I could win prizes for whinging :) That's it now until Tuesday I suppose :(

    Have a good afternoon all.

Sue when i was sat on my till the other day I thought of you as had a kettle through that offered miney off tetley tea vouchers i had a sneak peak and they were valid til March this year so I am thinking its a Russel Hobbs (or whoever made the kettle) issue as ours were new stock as we dont often have many kettles in

That's interesting Becks, thanks. The registration form in mine also had a comp on that expired in 2010, you'll have to try and have a peek inside one of yours to see if it's the same :)

Thanks for the link SueMaggie - just did the 2 books that came the other day out of interest and they came to over a pound.
Well done on the win BSue.
I finally managed to get a Dairy Milk Bubbly on the last day - I always seemed to get a message about being unlucky even when other peeps got them! Got one for DH too.
