Whilst laying in the bath , I read my bottle of tesco value (30p) Shower Gel and it said it's made in croatia.
I then read my superdrug shower gel bottle (£1.10) and it said made in the uk.
So I feel a little guilty , because i want to support British jobs (but on a budget) does anyone know what the cheapest British Shower gel is ?

I just checked my tesco 4p mushy peas and they are made in the uk :j.
I feel we all need to make some effort to support British jobs. Even if we just buy one extra thing British each.Kindness costs nothing

Maybe not the cheapest, but Lush is a UK company and made in the UK, also Molton Brown is made in the UK and a UK brand.
Also check out Organic Surge which is a Scottish brand, Soap and Glorye are a UK brand as are Cowshed and Liz Earle. I'm not 100% if these products are made in the UK but they were UK borne brands.
Otherwise maybe try making your own? Oats in a muslin square works well as an exfoliant and skin softener and milk can be good for skin (provided your not allergic!).
I have found this site on a Google search though- its got a few listings of British made items. Apparently Radox, Yardley, Imperial Leather, Champneys, Sanctury, Boots and The Body Shop all have either been made in the UK or are based in the UK- again, I'd check the packet/tube/can first!0 -
Molton Brown is owned by a Japanese company. Don't know if it's made in the UK though.0

I can feel another argument coming on !!!! Poor farmers not receiving a living wage etc and now Brish manufacturers being forced to sell below cost to subsidise supermarkets. LOL0
