Need to repair torn highchair seat

Options
The plastic seat has ripped. What is the best thing I can use to stick it back together. I've got some insulation tape and tried that, but it isn't sticky enough and too narrow. Not very well up on adhesive tape, so if anyone can recommend something (and where to get it from) I'd be very grateful.

You could try clear waterproof tape for repairing glass. I have bought it in garden centres in the past.

As it is waterproof it might do the trick.

I would imagine that Duck tape would do it - it sticks like the devil!! One other thought - how about re-covering the whole back with something like sticky back plastic? Alternatively, depending on how long you need the repair to last, could you perhaps make some sort of slip-over cover to go over the back, perhaps a bit of velcro to hold back and front together?

I went for duck tape in the end, colour coordinated to match the cushion ;), and it looks ok and certainly looks like it will last for some time.
