Clydesdale / Optima nightmare

  • My wife and I are also having problems with Optima

    They are holding up our new mortgage as well and everything written above, we are experiencing the same problems

    We hear nothing for two weeks, then they tell us documents are missing. We send them, hear nothing, then two weeks later they tell us they need something else.

    Who do we complain to about them?
  • If you are going through a broker, let them know and ask them to complaine to Clydesdale and the managers at Optima Legal. Only this will improve things a little bit. They seem to be acting very badly indeed...
  • On the other hand Clydesdale seems to have a much more human approach and are usually very quick in responses. So far during my application to opening offset accounts as well, I had no problems in approaching Clydesdale and the staff has been prompt with all the required actions.
