just received a payment plan(at last) stating what i should receive in the next 24 months
Guessing 24 months as my eldest daughter is 16 next year
but it says i should receive £18 paid weekly(£14.25 and £3.75 arrears for the £2000 he owes) from the 31/8/12 but i will only receive 24 payments lol be lucky if its one as hes been non compliant and they're now going to let him pay instead of a deo
so if this actually happens bearing in mind its taken 9 years to get this far then come next september then another change of circumstances will have to be done, god this one only took 8 3/4 months!

Finally! At least there's something in place now :) Fingers crossed he pays!why only 2 years though?

I'm waiting to see how long my departures application takes which will include backpay to last assessment.Nearly 3 weeks since I sent the form in and another 2-4 until they send it to him,at least. They don't half drag lol If they'd have given me the correct information in the first place this would've been done 6 months ago *rolls eyes*

Think i'll have to cross more than my fingers lol, was told when they rang me last week he had actually paid the great sum of £10 but not received that yet either.
Not sure why 2 years thought it was because my eldest will be turning 16 but that is in january but this goes to 3/9/14 making her 17. I know a few years ago there was talk about them staying on longer but as far as i know thats never come in.
Am not holding my breath but hopefully this time it will pan, near on 9 months for a change of circumstances is a joke they told me if he did it again he would have 2 weeks to get the info in lol
Hope you get some good news soon :)

It did come in,my son is 13 and expected to stay in education until 18.Depends on the year they started secondary I think?Even without that they wouldn't do it to a date of expected education ending surely because they can still go into further.Hmm an odd one!Maybe one of the CSA guys on here can suggest why.I know they have up to 2 years to clear arrears but that doesn't add up either lol

yer i have one whos 13 and shes under the impression that she would stay until 18 and my 15 year old they seemed to think they would be 17. I've looked and come across plans for it on the internet but couldn't find a definate yes it was going ahead and they've asked at school and the teachers don't seem to be aware of it either lol
Of course it could just be another mistake lol
just been looking again and found on politics.co.uk this

The Education and Skills Act 2008 increased the minimum age at which young people in England can leave learning. This requires them to continue in education or training to the age of 17 from 2013 and to 18 from 2015. Young people will be able to choose whether to stay in full-time education, undertake work-based learning such as an Apprenticeship, or part-time education or training if they are employed, self-employed or volunteering for more than 20 hours per week.

but according to wiki its not yet in force
