Recently purchased their Gilt Head Bream fillets, advertised at 200g each.
I ordered 10 fillets. What arrived was 20, each weighing in at 75g each.
Hence I had paid for 2Kg, and actually only received 1.5Kg.
I contacted the company be e-mail, and have had no response.
So beware.

You could contact the local Trading Standards dept and tell them because it's a weight-based complaint.
Fresh Foods Cornwall is based in St Ives. Cornwall County Council's trading standards department can be contacted on 0300 1234 191 or by filling in a contact form at https://www.cornwall.gov.uk or by emailing tradingstandards@cornwall.gov.uk

ronlloyd - you've tried to resolve this issue, but sadly no response from the company.
Edwardia has given the route to sort this and once Trading Standards get involved it should be easily rectified.
I think I would want a refund and give them their "tiddlers" back.
Good luck.

Thanks for your replies, I have just e-mailed trading standards as per Edwardia's post.

Looking forward to your outcome Ron.
If they have a history with TS, they may well get their wrists slapped.
They possibly could claim they simply sent the wrong order.
Either way, you didn't get what you ordered.

Have you thought about phoning the company to resolve this? Just in case they never received your email? Might be worth a try - 01736 799816"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

Well, I e-mailed trading standards and yesterday things got going.
First a call from Fresh Foods Cornwall, saying they never had my e-mails or even my on line feedback (which they must have had, as I had to fill in one of their website forms)
They offered a rebate or additional fish to make up the difference in weight. They had an excuse, saying the 'pickers' had given me farmed fish instead of wild fish. Not sure that's the truth, but never mind, I wont be going back.
An hour later I had a call from trading standards asking if my problem had been resolved. Obviously, they had contacted Fresh Foods and told them to sort it out.
In the end things have worked out, but that's only thanks to trading standards.
Cheers all.
