Unlicensed (BYO) Indian Restaurant in Essex?

Had some friends stay with us recently, they were surprised you could bring your own (BYO) alcohol into many of our local Indian/Balti Restaurants most of these are unlicensed but there are some which are, and still allow BYO (no corkage to pay either).
The BYO goes a long way to cheap meal out. Does anybody know of any BYO Indian restaurants in Essex, our friends are near Grays, fingers crossed.
