hi
I'm currently on JSA. I could get a job if i pass a 5 day (15 hours) training course, which the company will pay me £6.8 a hour for. so would i have to sign off. its not a problem unless i don't get the job and won't be able to sign on again.
Please advice

Do the course and worry about it later.0

Could you ask the employer the likelyhood of employment? If you have been selected for the job and you think you'll manage the training there should be no problem however if the company is training more than one person then selecting someone its a bit more risky.0

I can't see many employers paying you to do a training course if there wasn't a decent chance of a job at the end of it.0

I agree. I've never come across a company who will pay you for training if they didn't think you were suitable for the job. And there would be no reason why you couldn't reclaim if you needed to. Good Luck0

I Dont know if things have been changed very recently, But two months ago the JCP Adviser told me that they will pay me one months jsa/housing/CT benefits if I find work, to carry me over until payday.
I don't believe them as they are consistently deceitful, so I just smiled and nodded.
could be worth checking out though.
