just wondering how this works out well because i dont really like the So? fragrances so unless you were going to give them as presents i dont really understand why people are buying them. Sorry, not trying to criticise the deal, just trying to work out the benefit of it.

It works out well if you were buying stuff in boots anyway as you could use the points gained to buy the stuff so bonus perfume really. Otherwise unless you really wanted the perfume anyway it isnt worth doing as yes you have perfume but you wouldnt have bought it without the points and now your £5 is tied up on your boots card instead of in your purse. If that makes sense lol! I was buying reduced toys anyway so bought the perfumes first then used the points to pay for the toys and also used overall spend coupons so it was free perfume really and v. handy for xmas gifts/school fetes etc. :)

That's exactly what I did. 8 bottles of So... for DD's friends for xmas and £40 back for me. I usually spend a lot in Boots at xmas so the perfume was free really :T

I'm giving them as presents - and as the ones I bought were £3.93 for a 50ml bottle (so were down to better than half price) and I got 500 points per bottle, Boots paid me to take them away :).

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
i brought them with some £10 boots vouchers, so now 2 perfumes and still £10 to spend in boots
  • I' ve just bobbed into my local store (Bristol) as thought the so? / pink cookie fragrances would be fab pressies for DD1 & 2's friends for crimbo.

I bought a mix of 10 ( different So ?'s & pink cookie ) and when i got to the checkout they were all reduced to £2.99 each, also bought some doctor who puzzles & pens reduced to £1 for DD2 and a few other bits and bobs.

The fragrances cost £30 but i had 5000 advantage points plus an additional 250 for spending over £25, so came out with £52.50 for a £30 spend - perfect for me as my mum loves no 7 products and perfume, so i've sorted my DD's friends pressies, stocking filler for my DD's plus my mum crimbo gift for £30 - RESULT!!! :D

    CATALOGUE - £500
    WEIGHT LOSS - 10 of 65lbs
    SAVINGS £500 of £2500 by 2018

As far as I can tell it ends on 18th September. But the offer on the £2.49 panache etc spays ended earlier when it was reported to Head Office that the `lucky` public were getting 500 points for a small spend! Worth watching in case they change the offer on the cheaper items. If you dont get the 500 points, then get a refund straight away. I have. They may look at you as if you are mad but the idea is to build up points not their bank balance, so dont be afraid to ask! If you get an old trout or a jobsworth, just stand your ground. Am going into Boots tomorrow so will report back. I may try the self service though! It`s a good saving towards Christmas or their 75% off sale!

I Benefit Maybe, Baby for my sister-in-law - no points added but when I queried it the SA put the points on for me :)
  • Anyone tried this with Soap & Glory or Sanctuary EDPs ? As they are 3for2 could be interesting....
  • Can you buy gift cards with points?
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!
  • Picked this up in Boots today for £7 and received the 500 points.
