Boots Fragrance 500 pts offer - some under £5

went to the york monks cross one today... they didnt have any at all and told me 'oh theres been a rush on to buy these.. i dont know why though!' so asked them to call the york city center one. they said they had 3 of one and 4 of another so asked them to put them aside.. travelled about 10 miles to go pick them up, got there and they had no 50ml, the ones they put aside were 100ml ones and between £6 and £11 so travelled that far for nothing.

complained and they are going to call me when they come back in stock and honour the points, but doubt the prices will still be £3 odd.

not impressed oh well you win some, you lose some, guess its what i get for working lates this week...

I went to 2 stores in Exeter today and managed to pick up 5 bottles in total. So Kiss me, So Brit, So sinful, So Exclusive and Hannah Montana. The So Exclusive scanned at just under £4. All 50ml and got 500 points for each one. Only half price labels infront of products but a big sign saying 500 points when you buy any 50ml perfume hanging from the ceiling nearby. The sales assistant was shocked at the prices and points and asked me to show her the offer, then promptly took 5 bottles off the shelf to buy for herself. lol. Very pleased and put back for xmas.:j

i saw some of this instore but didnt try it, just looked at boots site it says 500 points online,

anyone tried it instore (scared incase it dont work lol)

sorry, 2x different 30ml edt which it says u can use independantly or 2gether to build up ur own scent...and a handbag edt bottle bag:j

I saw some perfume yesterday near the so bottles and there was no price. I just asked at pharmacy how much it was and whether I would get the 500 points.

Didn't buy it in the end as it was £8 but would have got the points. It was a Disney one.

i just got 2 bottles of lavender water today as i couldnt find anything else, but i saw some 'twilight' glitter perfume in the same section reduced to just over £4, it was 100ml, anyone know if any 100ml perfumes work or is it just the 50ml's? i didnt dare try

I had got SO 100mls earlier in the promotion and they worked fine then.

I went to Boots yesterday and bought a So....Brit and it cost me £5.24 and gave me 500 points. Happy days!
I then grabbed a couple of different So...? boxes and they worked too - in fact although they were all priced at £5.24 and no mention of the 500 points one of the boxes was only £4.74 and one was £3-something! I do confess to buying a couple more later on, total of 7 bottles of perfume and £35 worth of points. I also used a voucher I got from the advantage card machine which was 150 points if I spent over £15 and my usual points which were x10 due to parenting club.
I think in total it came to about £41 worth of points.
I was going to buy the lot but that seemed greedy and pointless unless I could make use of the fragrances. Luckily I have 3 teenage girls so I have officially made a start on Christmas pressies lol.
