Name on mortgage advice

Hi all, just after some advice really!! My ex and I divorced in April this year. We still have a joint mortgage on our house which he is now living in. I am hoping that he will agree to sell soon!! My question is this as I am currently paying half the mortgage plus the rent on my house!! My question is this...I am in the process of changing my name back on everything and want to change it on mortgage but not sure where I stand?? Any help much appreciated!! Beth
