Hi All
my libor + 5 Deal with redstone is at its 3 complete years on Nov 1st 2012
my LTV is 77 % and my credit files are crystal clear no overdrafts no credit cards , paid everthing up greens all the way on both my mine and wifes files on all 3 CRA
I am after advice on 2 areas if any MA have done this
i have read my offer letter and i have to give 1 months notice in writing to redstone to avoid the 1% good bye fee and the mortgage will have to complete 36 months FULL months to avoid the fee
how early can you book a remortgage?
when would you start the process ie sept or nov ?

You could look for a remortgage product now. Secure the offer and set up the completion for 1st November. Give the current lender the notice once new offer is in place. State completion date of 1st November and solicitor will request a redempttion figure for this date.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
