Best brand of Kitchen appliances

Hi, I am looking to moving to my own place.
I just wonder if any one could suggest which brand of kitchen appliances generally last longer. Or which brand should avoid buying. I obviously not look at top of the range.

Washing Machine
Fridge Freezer
Dish Washer

I've found Beko not to be very long lasting - I particularly wouldn't recommend their washing machines. Bosch I've found to be quite good. And I'd absolutely avoid buying from Comet/Currys/Dixons - their "customer service" leaves a lot to be desired in my experience!

I have never had any problems with Comet/Currys/Dixons , but then again I have done my research ( on line ) first. All I want them to do is take the order. If they are the cheapest , they get my money.
Last large item was a new double oven , delivered free within 24 hours , no complaints.

    Thanks.

But I don't really care about running cost as it would only be 2 people in the house. And I would rather get something not breakdown easily than concern on running cost, as repair cost & inconvenience >> low running cost

Miele, if you can do with the styling.
  • I like Bosch.

Cheaper than Siemens but essentially the same item.

Miele and Bosch for us, though we do look hard for discounts or longer warranty for washing machine/dishwasher.
  • I like my Ikea ones! Whirlpool make them & they have a 5yr warranty too. Before that I had Hoover for washing machine/Dryer (now have Hoover again as an all in one as Ikea didn't make one!) AEG dish washer, Samsung (big american thing - worst buy ever!) Fridge freezer.

I'd buy (& did!) Hoover again, never Hotpoint, AEG was good but I'd look at John Lewis own brand & the Ikea. Check Ikea for deals too, they were doing £100 back when you spend £1000 on kitchens when I bought mine!!
